Job description

You will be part of the ODE (On-Demand Environments) Platform team, responsible for designing and building enterprise-grade REST APIs and backend services supporting deployment orchestration across AWS ECS, Kubernetes (EKS), and Serverless environments. This is a backend-focused engineering role with strong emphasis on cloud-native development and CI/CD automation. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise REST APIs from scratch.
Build scalable backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS (ECS/EKS).
Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

10+ years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Extensive experience building REST APIs and backend microservices.
AWS (ECS/EKS) experience.
Docker and containerization.
Jenkins (CI/CD).
PostgreSQL experience preferred.
Experience with Splunk or Dynatrace.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

Experience with Kubernetes.
Go (Golang).
Terraform / CloudFormation.
Kafka.
Prometheus / Grafana.
Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js (nice to have).
