Job description

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator with hands-on experience supporting Cisco environments, including routers, switches, and firewalls. This role is responsible for maintaining network performance, security, and reliability across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with network monitoring, and the ability to support both day-to-day operations and infrastructure projects., * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls

  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security to ensure optimal uptime
  • Perform network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates
  • Manage LAN/WAN connectivity, VPNs, VLANs, and wireless network infrastructure
  • Configure and maintain firewall rules, access controls, and network security policies
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and hardware/software issues across the network
  • Support network documentation, diagrams, inventory, and change management processes
  • Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects, system implementations, and disaster recovery planning
  • Respond to network outages and provide timely resolution of incidents
  • Recommend improvements to network design, performance, and security

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in network administration or network engineering
  • Strong experience with Cisco networking equipment
  • Hands-on knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
  • Familiarity with VPN technologies, network monitoring tools, and security best practices
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
  • Experience documenting configurations, procedures, and network changes
