This Long-term Contract position focuses on maintaining reliable AV environments, assisting with event technology delivery, and providing hands-on technical support across conferencing and network-connected systems. The role is ideal for someone who can balance day-to-day system administration with live event readiness while working effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of audiovisual platforms, including sound, display, control, and conferencing technologies.

  • Prepare event spaces for successful execution by testing equipment in advance and confirming operational readiness before each session or presentation.

  • Act as an operator or technical support resource during internal events and collaborate with outside vendors when external production support is required.

  • Apply practical network administration knowledge such as VLAN configuration, IP addressing, and connectivity troubleshooting to keep AV systems aligned with organizational standards.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems affecting AV equipment, user-facing workplace tools, and basic network-connected environments.

  • Deliver first-line support for everyday IT hardware and end-user technology, including monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and meeting room systems, while escalating more complex issues appropriately.

  • Maintain dependable cabling and signal infrastructure by working with power, patching, routing, distribution, and overall signal flow considerations.

  • Support the operation and upkeep of video walls, digital signage solutions, content delivery platforms, and camera-related technology where needed. Requirements * Hands-on experience supporting audiovisual systems, conferencing tools, and related workplace technology in a detail-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including LAN environments, IP addressing, VLANs, and general connectivity concepts.

  • Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment such as routers and broader Cisco network administration practices.

  • Experience with firewall technologies and an understanding of secure network operations.

  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, peripheral, and end-user technology issues in a fast-paced support setting.

  • Understanding of structured cabling, signal routing, patching, and distribution methods for technology-enabled spaces.

  • Exposure to Active Directory and general enterprise IT support processes.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, event teams, and third-party vendors. Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
