Stable, profitable company with more than 110 years of success, The Business Systems Analyst serves as the bridge between business needs and technical execution. Working closely with the Solutions & Project Manager, you’ll partner with operations, technology, customers, vendors, and leadership to deliver systems implementations, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives that improve international freight forwarding operations. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates confidently with stakeholders, enjoys solving problems, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where initiative is valued. Responsibilities
- Support the migration away from legacy systems and modernize core business platforms.
- Lead and coordinate systems integration projects involving customers, vendors, overseas agents, carriers, and business partners.
- Support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of CargoWise and other freight forwarding technologies such as Chain.io, Logixboard, and related integration platforms when applicable.
- Gather business requirements, analyze operational workflows, and translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Coordinate project timelines, testing, UAT, deployments, and successful go-live execution.
- Partner with operations, technology, customers, vendors, and executive leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve workflows, and drive digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

Requirements
This role is ideal for Business Systems Analysts who have worked within freight forwarding or customs brokerage environments, particularly those with experience using CargoWise, Chain.io, Logixboard, or similar freight forwarding technology platforms. We are looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, communicates confidently with stakeholders, and brings energy and initiative to every project. We want builders who create momentum, not people who simply wait for tickets to be assigned. You understand how international freight forwarding works, including customers, overseas agents, carriers, customs brokerage, and operational workflows. You know how technology supports those operations and enjoy improving them., 3-7+ years of Business Systems Analyst or similar experience within a freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or international logistics organization Hands-on experience with CargoWise strongly preferred. Experience with Chain.io, Logixboard, or similar freight forwarding platforms is also highly desirable. Confident communicator with a high ownership mentality who enjoys working directly with business stakeholders, driving projects forward, and solving problems proactively. Strong experience supporting software implementations, systems integrations, digital transformation initiatives, or business process improvement projects. Proven experience coordinating project timelines, milestones, testing activities, and go-live execution. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-moving environment. Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and the ability to operate independently. Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build, improve, and drive change rather than simply maintain existing processes.
