Job description

  • Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS, managing Kubernetes containers and automating deployment processes with Terraform and Ansible.
  • Administer Linux systems and script in Bash, Python, and Go.
  • Implement CI/CD and Agile methodologies.
  • Work with big data technologies including Hadoop, Accumulo, Spark, NiFi, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Trino, and Presto.
  • Provide technical leadership., * Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS (EKS) and non-cloud (Edge) environments.
  • Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
  • Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Collaborate with development teams for application integration.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production systems.
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and stay current with new technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and team guidance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 3 years with a Master’s; or 9 years with a High School Diploma/equivalent., * Utilize strong knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda).
  • Apply proficiency in configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Develop in Python, Bash, or Go, and use tools like Git and Flux.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Work within AGILE software development methodologies.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Accumulo, Spark, NiFi, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Trino, Presto) is a plus.
  • Must possess a current TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
