Mac Endpoint Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, implement, and maintain the enterprise macOS environment to deliver secure, compliant endpoint services. You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and support teams to drive reliable Apple devices across the organization. The position emphasizes lifecycle management, security controls, and automation to support a regulated enterprise. You will work onsite in Buffalo with one remote day per week, tackling complex OS, security, and deployment challenges that scale with the business. Compensation / Benefits * Design and maintain enterprise macOS workstation solutions * Manage Apple device lifecycle (provisioning, deployment, upgrades, refreshes, retirement) * Administer ABM, ADE, Intune for macOS, and Jamf * Develop macOS configuration profiles, compliance policies, and security baselines * Deploy OS updates, security patches, and app upgrades * Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and integration issues * Evaluate new Apple technologies and enterprise adoption strategies * Implement and maintain endpoint security controls and compliance monitoring * Package, deploy, and support Mac applications; test compatibility across macOS * Support software distribution, configuration management, and rollback procedures * Lead small-to-medium engineering projects * Develop automation solutions and maintain documentation * Support incident, problem, and change management; participate in on-call Tasks * 4+ years of endpoint engineering experience * 3+ years supporting enterprise macOS environments * Experience with Apple ecosystem technologies * Experience with Jamf Pro * Strong scripting and automation skills * Knowledge of endpoint security, compliance, and device management best practices * Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Key requirements *
