ITOT Infrastructure Engineer

Experteer Overview As an ITOT Infrastructure Engineer, you shape manufacturing IT/OT infrastructure to support global Pharma Manufacturing operations. You collaborate with IT and OT teams to deliver harmonized solutions at site level, aligning with MAR priorities and project demands. You will manage and secure control-system infrastructure, lead upgrades, and support commissioning of new processes. You drive reliability, disaster recovery, and security while bridging automation with storage, compute, and network layers. This role offers impact on manufacturing systems and global IT/OT standards. Compensation / Benefits * Manage ITOT Infrastructure for Manufacturing System Platforms (IMS, MES, DCS, SCADA) * Coordinate site ITOT infrastructure support with Global infrastructure solutions (Active Directory, firewall policies) * Install, upgrade, and maintain control systems hardware/software and related databases; manage security, monitoring, backups, and recovery * Implement robust disaster recovery solutions * Drive ITOT infrastructure standards across site ITOT and Process Automation platforms * Support commissioning/startup of new process control systems (Syncade/PharmaSuite, DeltaV, OSI PI) * Act as site Infrastructure expert linking Automation with Storage/Compute/Network * Perform virtualization administration and lifecycle activities (design, install, configure, upgrade) * Support computer system validation, lifecycle management, and GMP documentation * Assist integration of Edge Computing and IIoT gateways for real-time data to OSI PI Historian and cloud analytics * Collaborate with Cyber Security to implement Zero Trust and security measures * Oversee data backup, recovery management, and DR testing; triage/resolve ServiceNow incidents Tasks * 7+ years systems engineering experience in automation, ideally in regulated pharmaceutical environments * Experience in OT Manufacturing Infrastructure, security management, and data backup technologies * Experience with change control, computer systems validation, and GMP documentation * Strong background in OS, storage, backup, monitoring, virtualization, LAN/WAN, firewalls, RDBMS, and client-server environments * Advanced expertise in VMware or Nutanix for control-system workloads * Experience with Composable Infrastructure and EDR/XDR technologies * Experience with HA/Failover clustering and redundancy * Microsoft SQL Server installation, troubleshooting, and tuning * Microsoft Active Directory and group policy * Familiarity with orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) is a plus * Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, VCAP, CISSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Specialist, GICSP is a plus * Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills * willingness for 24x7 on-call as required * Location-based salary and relocation details provided in posting Key requirements *
