Systems Engineer II

Experteer Overview In this Cloud Engineer role, you drive and support cloud deployments in Azure and AWS, leveraging Infrastructure as Code and automation. You collaborate with engineering, architecture, and DevOps teams to build scalable, cloud-native systems and improve operational efficiency. You’ll learn DevSecOps platforms and contribute to a broader cloud transformation aligned with business goals. This is a growth-focused role for recent graduates eager to develop cloud skills within a collaborative, innovative environment. Compensation / Benefits * Assist Azure and AWS deployments using IaC (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible) and automation * Promote cloud-native practices and evaluate PaaS solutions * Utilize DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and CI/CD pipelines to deploy services * Guide engineering and operations teams to ensure availability and performance of key services * Stay updated on emerging tech to improve security, performance, and SLAs * Build cross-functional relationships with Enterprise Architecture, Automation, and other teams * Document reference deployments and create long-term IT infrastructure plans Tasks * Basic understanding of Azure and AWS * Familiarity with Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible; Kubernetes (AKS/EKS); scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML) * Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps tools (GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, SonarCloud, Argo CD, Harness) * Basic knowledge of cloud, networks, Windows/Linux, monitoring, logging, alerting, IT tools (ServiceNow) * Ability to translate business needs into IT infrastructure requirements * Knowledge of security technologies for cloud environments * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to communicate technical concepts to varied audiences Key requirements * Multiple medical plans including dental, vision, and prescription * 401(k) with generous matching * PTO 20 days per year * 12 paid holidays + 2 Volunteer Time Off days * Life and AD&D insurance; short/long-term disability * Paid parental leave up to 10 weeks
