Test Engineer III

Experteer Overview As a Test Engineer III, you design, develop, and improve Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for aerospace and electronic products, ensuring cost, quality, and customer requirements. You’ll work on new designs, modernization, and analyses using engineering tools to deliver economical, robust test solutions. You collaborate across functions to meet performance and manufacturability targets and contribute to process improvements. This role offers hands-on leadership in test engineering with impact on product development and sustaining efforts. You’ll engage in a challenging, fast-paced environment that values rigor and cross-functional teamwork. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Automated Test Equipment (ATE) * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance and cost targets * Define and comply with guidelines to ensure safe operating environments * Support continuous improvement through Kaizen, 5S, and team development * Plan, estimate, and manage work to align with schedules and budgets * Develop and review technical documents, procedures, and test plans * Lead multifunctional teams on capital test engineering projects up to $500,000 * Design, code, and debug test systems with LabVIEW/TestStand or similar tools * Create complete design packages including schematics, wiring, and BOMs * Generate test procedures and establish equipment specifications and test limits * Document, validate, and control software and test data Tasks * 5 years of relevant experience * BA or BS in an engineering discipline * Hardware design experience (analog and digital) * Microprocessor/microcontroller design * Automated test system design and data acquisition programming * Software development and verification * Configuration management in a regulated environment * Ability to lead test programs, manage schedules and costs * Proficiency with LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar platforms Key requirements * Health care, dental, vision, life and disability insurance starting day one * 15 days paid time off and 12 holidays per year * 401k with company match * Education reimbursement after 6 months * opportunity to work in a leading aerospace environment * Lean manufacturing culture
