Job description
Experteer Overview As Test Engineer you apply proven methods and creative engineering to research, design, and develop aerospace/test solutions. You’ll contribute to new products, upgrades, and sustaining work while ensuring cost, quality, and customer requirements. The III level leverages computer-assisted design and analysis tools to deliver economical solutions. You join a team focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in a high-stakes environment. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to hit performance and cost targets * Embed quality and manufacturability into designs * Plan and manage work to meet schedules and budgets * Design and implement test equipment and automated systems * Develop test procedures, analyses, and documentation * Mentor junior engineers and support technology transfers * Support production with new test equipment and upgrades * Ensure test data is well-organized and archived * Provide clear technical reporting and presentations Tasks * BA or BS in engineering (Masters/PhD preferred) * Level II: 3+ years of relevant experience; Level III: 5+ years * Hardware design experience (analog and digital) * Familiarity with schematic reading and PIC microprocessors * National Instruments Test Equipment knowledge * Automated test system design and data acquisition programming * Software development and verification * Configuration management in regulated environments * Strong communication skills in English * LabVIEW, TestStand, C#, Python, Visual Studio or related platforms * Experience with SPICE, CADs, PWB layout * Experience with interfaces (ARINC429, CAN, RS232, I2C) Key requirements * health care, dental, vision, life and disability insurance * paid time off and holidays * 401k with company match * education reimbursement eligibility
