Experteer Overview In this hybrid role, you support and maintain both enterprise network and end-user computing infrastructure. You work on switching, VLANs, and endpoint imaging while delivering professional end-user support. You balance infrastructure chores with day-to-day operations, often working independently and escalating complex issues. You help sustain VDI/thin-client environments and Windows endpoints within a security-conscious, mission-critical setting. You will collaborate across teams to ensure reliable, secure IT services that enable government operations. Compensation / Benefits * Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco switches (IOS-XE, NX-OS) and implement port security * Manage TCP/IP, subnetting, DHCP/DNS, and Layer 2/3 troubleshooting * Support and maintain VDI/thin-client infrastructure; provisioning and connectivity troubleshooting * Perform endpoint imaging and deployment via PXE and related tooling * Administer Windows 10/11 endpoints including configuration and lifecycle support * Execute patch management and remediate vulnerabilities per IAVA; maintain security baselines and STIGs * Use CLI and tools (PuTTY, PowerShell, Windows CMD) for configuration, diagnostics, and automation * Support Active Directory tasks (account/group management, OU navigation, basic Group Policy) * Document configurations, procedures, and changes following standard conventions * Provide high-quality end-user support and ticket handling; coordinate with cross-functional teams Tasks * 15+ years of system/network administration experience * Active TS/SCI w/Poly * 5+ years in network administration (mid-level) with Cisco IOS-XE/NX-OS experience * 10+ years administering customer’s classified VDI/thin-client platform * 10+ years Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting * Strong customer service orientation and clear communication * Port security concepts and remediation knowledge * PXE-based imaging/deployment experience * PuTTY, PowerShell, and Windows command-line proficiency * Active Directory user/group administration * Patch management and vulnerability remediation (IAVA) expertise * Endpoint management platforms (SCCM/MECM, BigFix) * Security baselines and STIG compliance familiarity * Ticketing/ITSM exposure (JIRA) * Basic firewall awareness (Cisco Firepower/ASA) * Experience with remote administration tools * Understanding of structured cabling and patch panels * Basic scripting/automation for repetitive tasks Key requirements * heavily subsidized benefits * 25 days of PTO * bonus plan eligibility
