Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you support enterprise network operations, collaborating with the Network Operations Center to resolve break/fix issues and deploy updates across routers and switches. You drive documentation, SOPs, and incident analyses while performing controlled changes and upgrades. You work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous network availability and security, tackling complex problems with creativity and proven experience. This position offers meaningful impact in a mission-critical, security-focused environment. Compensation / Benefits * Coordinate ticket acceptance and resolution with Network Operations Center and staff * Execute approved network changes (VLAN, ACL, port assignments) * Perform IOS upgrades on routers and switches * Upgrade routing and switching technology to ensure enterprise continuity * Draft SOPs for network operations * Resolve network failures and accessibility issues * Support site surveys, engineering designs data calls and network implementations * Operate as an independent engineer in remote locations with limited supervision * Conduct detailed information gathering and root cause analysis for complex problems * Perform network ticket resolution and incident analysis to drive closure * Provision new devices via administrative access and research errors for incident resolution * Route service requests to appropriate teams for incident resolution * Review and implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) Tasks * TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph * Bachelorās degree with 5+ years of experience or Master with 3+ years or PhD with 1+ year (plus 4 years of experience in lieu of degree) * Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, or 802.1x) * Experience with Cisco ISE * Familiarity with KG-175 Series TACLANES configuration, fault isolation, and firmware upgrades * Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper network devices * Active IAT Level II Certification * Active CCNA Certification Key requirements * overtime eligibility * shift differential * discretionary bonus * Top Secret/SCI w/ poly clearance * career development in national security IT
