Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will define and drive Aurora’s enterprise security architecture strategy and roadmaps, shaping how security is embedded across enterprise and backend systems. You will create reference architectures, standards, and patterns for key domains such as endpoint, network, data protection, and resilience, ensuring scalable, governance-aligned designs. You will partner with GRC and cross-functional teams to translate policy into practical architecture and lead security maturity efforts. This is an opportunity to affect security at scale in a fast-growing, safety-critical mobility company. Compensation / Benefits * Define enterprise security architecture strategy, roadmap, and operating model * Develop reference architectures and standards for multiple security domains (endpoint, network, infrastructure, vulnerability management, data protection) * Translate governance and business priorities into scalable architecture guidance * Collaborate with GRC to operationalize security policies into architectures * Represent security priorities in architecture review boards and planning forums * Design secure solutions for workforce platforms, internal infrastructure, and backend ecosystems using Zero Trust * Guide security design for PKI, data security, resilience, and tooling modernization * Provide architectural oversight for major security initiatives ensuring scalability and governance alignment * Partner with Security Engineering, GRC, Cloud Security, IT, Product Security, and IAM to align capabilities * Identify gaps and opportunities to streamline security investments * Shape long-term enterprise security capabilities including AI security and automation * Maintain enterprise security design documentation and governance artifacts * Align architecture with Zero Trust, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOX, SOC 2 frameworks * Serve as strategic advisor to Enterprise Security leadership on architecture and investments * Support strategic narratives to improve executive understanding of security investments Tasks * 10+ years in Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, or security leadership * 5+ years designing enterprise-scale security architectures across multiple domains * Proven ability to develop security strategies, reference architectures, and standards * Deep knowledge of Zero Trust, enterprise security frameworks, and modern architecture patterns * Strong understanding of endpoint, network, PKI, vulnerability management, resilience, data protection, and governance integration * Ability to translate governance and business requirements into actionable architecture guidance * Experience in architecture review boards or enterprise design councils * Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure, SaaS ecosystems, internal platforms, and security tooling integration * Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate with executives * Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders * Strategic mindset and leadership experience Key requirements * annual bonus * equity compensation * benefits * hybrid work environment * office presence 3 days per week * salary ranges vary by location
