Senior Underwriter Cyber - Iberia

Experteer Overview In this role you will shape the Iberia cyber underwriting portfolio within Allianz Commercial, leveraging market knowledge and client relationships to drive profitable growth.You will work closely with cross-functional teams and brokers to deliver competitive cyber solutions for Spain and Portugal.The position combines technical underwriting with market strategy, influencing product offering and risk selection.A strong focus on responsible growth and collaboration with key stakeholders will help Allianz maintain leadership in the Iberian cyber market.Compensaciones / Beneficios - Underwrite new and renewal Cyber accounts to meet top and bottom line targets within guidelines and authority - Negotiate participation, pricing, and terms with brokers for profitable outcomes - Proactively manage exposure and concentration risks across the Cyber portfolio - Support acquisition of new business and retention of existing clients in collaboration with Distribution and Client Relationship teams - Collaborate with Market Management and Distribution on market initiatives and Cyber product development in Iberia - Maintain strong broker and client relationships, presenting Allianz Commercial professionally - Assess cyber risk exposures (digital dependencies, controls, incident history, threat trends) to inform pricing and risk selection - Contribute to design, development, and implementation of consistent policy wordings for Cyber productsResponsabilidades - Experience underwriting profitable Cyber business in the Iberia region - Established broker relationships and understanding of Iberia Cyber market - Strong analytical skills to assess risk and benchmark performance - Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation abilities - Ability to influence and collaborate without direct authority - Comfort with data insights, digital tools, and AI-enabled solutions for decision-making - Fluent Spanish and English; Portuguese or other Iberian language skills are a plus - Experience applying AI/ML to improve processes is beneficial - Degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent experienceRequisitos principales - hybrid working model - bonus scheme - pension - private healthcare - flexible working arrangements - career development and mobility
