Job description

As Olive Tree Consulting supports a major Spanish logistics provider through a period of significant expansion, we are looking for a Junior AI Automation Developer to help us build the systems that keep their operations clear and manageable. This is a full-time, permanent position designed for someone early in their career who wants to apply technical logic to practical business problems. You will work as part of a distributed team to ensure that as our client grows, their management habits remain simple and their records remain accurate.About the Role At Olive Tree, we believe that management is a craft that relies on clear habits and simple records. When a company like our logistics client expands, the distance between strategy and execution often grows. This role exists to bridge that gap using automation. You will not be building complex, standalone software products.Instead, you will be creating the connective tissue between the tools our clients already use.Your work ensures that decisions are recorded, handoffs are tracked, and the management rhythm stays quiet and effective. This is a fully remote role where you will support our consultants by turning their process designs into automated workflows. What You Will Do Configure automated workflows to capture meeting outcomes and update decision logs without manual entry.Build and maintain simple integrations between project management tools and communication platforms.Experiment with basic AI tools to summarize long threads of communication into clear action items.Create simple data bridges to ensure that information stays consistent across different departments.Draft clear, plain documentation so that client teams understand how their new automations work.Monitor existing workflows to identify where processes are slowing down or where errors occur.Support the advisory team by setting up digital spaces that reflect the structural habits we are helping the client build.Test new low-code tools to see if they can help reduce the administrative burden on leadership teams. What We Are Looking For A logical mindset and a genuine interest in how businesses organize their work. The ability to write clearly and simply. We value plain English over technical jargon.A high level of attention to detail. You should be the kind of person who notices when a naming convention is inconsistent.A patient approach to troubleshooting. You enjoy finding out why a simple automation stopped working. The ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying in close communication with the team.Curiosity about new technology and a willingness to learn how to use different software platforms quickly.A focus on utility. You should care more about whether a tool is useful than whether it is complex.Helpful Background Basic familiarity with coding logic, perhaps through exposure to Python or JavaScript during your studies.Any experience with low-code or no-code tools like Zapier, Make, or Airtable. An interest in logistics or operations, helping you understand the needs of our Spanish logistics client.Experience managing projects or organizing information in a structured way, even if in a non-technical setting.Previous use of collaborative tools like Slack, Notion, or Trello. What We Offer This is a permanent, full-time position that is fully remote. We offer a competitive salary that is attractive for an entry-level role in this market. You will have the chance to work on high-stakes projects with large organizations while learning from an experienced team of advisors.Because we are a remote firm, we focus on results and clear communication rather than hours spent at a desk. You will be provided with the support you need to learn new tools and grow your technical skills within a professional consulting context.About Olive Tree Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution.A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems: they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company growth. We favor practical changes over large scale transformation programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment.Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own.The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
