Sr. Manager, Software Engineering, iOS (Enterprise Platform Technology)

Experteer Overview Senior iOS engineering leader responsible for guiding mobile platform delivery at Capital One. You will shape iOS solutions that align with product strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor engineers within a fast-paced agile environment. This role places you at the center of a major transformation of Capital One’s mobile platforms, offering opportunities to influence architecture, open source usage, and cross-team best practices. You will champion mobile platform excellence and developer community engagement to deliver high-quality customer experiences. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and deliver iOS client solutions aligned with product strategy and engineering standards * Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, QA, Product Owners/Analysts to create engaging, performant experiences * Actively participate in agile ceremonies and ensure team commitments are met with quality * Advocate for the mobile platform internally and within developer communities * Continuously learn mobile technologies (Swift, Kotlin, 3rd party libraries) * Influence group discussions and incorporate feedback from the broader team * Mentor junior to mid-level engineers * Collaborate with cross-discipline teams beyond the local sprint team (Android, iOS, APIs, Web) * Lead delivery of major platform components in partnership with senior engineers and architects * Share best practices and improve processes across sprint teams * Identify technical obstacles early and drive creative solutions * Review pull requests for Swift and other idioms Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree * 6+ years in software engineering * 4+ years of people management experience * 4+ years building iOS applications * 3+ years of experience with Swift Key requirements * comprehensive health benefits * competitive compensation * performance-based incentives * inclusive benefits and total well-being * sponsoring employment authorization
