Sr. Manager, Software Engineering, iOS (Enterprise Platform Technology)

Experteer Overview In this role you lead iOS software engineering within Capital One’s Enterprise Platform Technology group, driving mobile delivery at scale. You partner with cross-functional teams to ship high-quality iOS experiences and mentor engineers across squads. You’ll champion mobile platform best practices, contribute to agile ceremonies, and influence architectural decisions. This role offers impact on transformation efforts and opportunities to shape a robust iOS platform for customers and partners. Compensation / Benefits * Develop iOS client solutions aligned with product strategy and engineering guidelines * Lead and mentor junior to mid-level mobile engineers across teams * Participate in agile ceremonies and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables * Advocate for the mobile platform internally and in developer communities * Stay current with mobile technologies (Swift, Kotlin, tooling) and introduce improvements * Review pull requests to enforce Swift idioms and code quality * Lead delivery of major components and platform needs with senior engineers/architects * Share best practices and optimize processes across sprint teams * Identify and resolve technical obstacles with the team * Collaborate with cross-functional partners (UX/UI, QA, product owners) * Engage with external teams across disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web) Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree * at least 6 years in software engineering * at least 4 years of people management experience * at least 4 years of experience building iOS applications * at least 3 years of experience with Swift Key requirements * health benefits * financial benefits * inclusive benefits
