Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the design, development, and optimization of ML and AI solutions to enable data-driven decisions across Biogen’s US Commercial team. You will partner with Insights & Analytics, Enterprise Data Management, IT, and Medical Affairs to deliver predictive models that illuminate patient and provider dynamics. You’ll shape analytics practices, govern models, and translate insights into business strategies that accelerate commercial growth. This hybrid position is based in Cambridge, MA with on-site work three days a week. You’ll engage cross-functionally to scale innovative analytics in a fast-paced biotech environment. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and validate ML and predictive analytics solutions for the US Commercial function * Evaluate business needs to choose appropriate ML/AI methods to uncover insights on patients, providers, treatment patterns, and opportunities * Establish and refine model development, monitoring, governance, and continuous improvement practices * Develop analytics to generate actionable insights into patient populations and provider behavior * Integrate claims, EHR, specialty pharmacy, and commercial data to identify opportunities for access, engagement, and commercial effectiveness * Collaborate with Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Insights & Analytics to translate insights into evidence-based business strategies * Communicate complex analytical findings to leadership and cross-functional teams * Support a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence * Manage external vendors and consulting partners * Operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment to ensure timely, high-quality execution Tasks * Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s) in a quantitative field with 5+ years (or 3+ years for Master’s) of experience * 3+ years in supporting US Commercial organizations within pharma/biotechnology * Strong programming in Python and SQL * Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI * Expertise in ML, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and optimization * Knowledge of pharma data sources (IQVIA, Symphony Health, Veeva, Komodo) or claims/EHR datasets * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Key requirements * Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life insurances * Fitness & Wellness programs including reimbursement * Disability insurance * Paid vacation and year-end shutdown * Paid holidays and personal days * 401(k) with company match
