Sr. AI Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will design and operate AI-enabled services that deliver production-grade features, including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows. You will build and maintain Python-based microservices and integrate AI into web apps, while ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency. You’ll own CI/CD, observability, and incident response, with a focus on responsible AI and data protection. You will collaborate with analysts, QA, and product owners to iterate quickly in an agile setting, helping the organization advance its AI capabilities at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Build Python services and microservices (APIs, workers) exposing AI capabilities * Implement end-to-end RAG pipelines (connectors, parsing, embeddings, indexing, retrieval) using Azure AI Search and/or Pinecone * Create and operate agentic workflows with LangGraph, n8n, or Agent Development Kit; iterate prompts/flows and automate evaluations * Integrate AI into web applications (REST/GraphQL, events) with input/output validation and graceful degradation * Own CI/CD and containerization for services; add telemetry, dashboards, and alerts; participate in on-call/incident response * Apply Responsible AI, data protection, and access controls; contribute guardrails in code * Collaborate with analysts, QA, and product owners to refine requirements; demo increments and incorporate feedback in an agile cadence Tasks * 5+ years of professional software engineering * 3 years hands-on AI/LLM production systems experience * Proficiency in Python and modern engineering practices (testing, linting, typing, packaging, CI) * Experience with Cloud AI platforms (Azure AI Foundry, GCP Vertex, AWS Bedrock) * Hands-on with vector databases and search algorithms * Experience with containers and CI/CD; AI observability and production support mindset * Developed multi-agent systems using MCP and A2A technologies * Hands-on with Agentic AI tools (Cursor, Claudecode, Github Copilot) * Strong communication with analysts, QA, architects, and stakeholders * Experience with AI Observability (Datadog and Langsmith) * Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience Key requirements *
