Engineer Embedded Software

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead software efforts for testing RF production hardware in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will collaborate across design, test hardware, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust acceptance testing and environmental screening. You’ll design, code, and validate test software, continuously improve test processes, and ensure tests align with contractual requirements. This position offers the chance to influence how RF systems are validated in production and to work on mission-critical defense and space-grade electronics. Compensation / Benefits * Review and update software that controls test equipment * Troubleshoot discrepancies in software packages * Coordinate with engineering and production teams to meet testing commitments * Design, integrate, and validate new/modified testing requirements * Develop and maintain manufacturing acceptance testing procedures and environmental screening procedures * Collaborate on testability reviews with design engineering * Interface with leadership, clients, and vendors * Support acceptance testing of Shop Replaceable Units and payload-level screening Tasks * BS in Computer Science, Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or related STEM field with 2 years experience or MS in equivalent fields with 0+ years * Experience with hardware and calibration/testing methodology * Experience with test instruments (e.g., Performance Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope) * Experience with programming languages such as C#, C, LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI * Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, or firmware issues * Experience delivering software projects on schedule and on budget * Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance * US Citizenship required Key requirements * Health Plan * Savings Plan * Paid Time Off * Education Assistance * Training and Development * 9/80 Work Schedule
