Experteer Overview In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art AI/ML applications as part of Northrop Grumman’s Research & Advanced Design team in El Segundo. You will collaborate with AI/ML and software engineers to bring LLMs, NLP, NLU, and NLG into practical, production-ready solutions while upholding responsible and explainable AI practices. You’ll work across development and production environments, shaping software requirements and testing ecosystems. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge AI research, a strong emphasis on communication and stakeholder management, and the opportunity to contribute to impactful, mission-critical systems. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, document, test, debug, and deploy AI/ML applications * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI/ML solutions in development and production environments * Design and develop software development and testing environment requirements Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or STEM with 12 years of experience; OR Master’s Degree with 10 years; OR PhD with 8 years * Experience with AI models and algorithms (LLMs, DNN, embedding models, deep learning) * Experience with deploying AI LLM tools and related infrastructure * Experience with large codebases and multilingual monorepos * Ability to develop requirements and work in integration/verification/testing environments * Rapid prototyping and PoC demonstration ability * Understanding of software engineering best practices (version control, architecture) * Active US Government Secret clearance (or equivalent) Key requirements * flexible work arrangements * learning opportunities * friendly team environment * retirement and savings plan * health insurance coverage * paid time off (PTO)
