Senior Software Engineer

Experteer Overview As a Sr. Software Engineer at Abbott Cancer Diagnostics, you will lead the design, development, and testing of software solutions that support cancer detection and guidance. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, test, and sustain software for Abbott Cancer Diagnostics * Troubleshoot medium-complexity issues and fix bugs independently * Initiate independent designs and lead design reviews * Influence project delivery with sound judgment and engineering best practices * Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members * Build internal and external partnerships with peers, SMEs, and stakeholders * Communicate project plans and status updates clearly * Support quality management system policies and maintain strong attendance * Operate in a cross-functional team and uphold mission, values, and inclusion Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering; or 4 years of related experience * Strong knowledge of software design and development; object-oriented programming * Experience with RESTful web services, relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server), and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, Entity Framework) * Experience with cloud-based frameworks (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD practices * Proficiency in multiple languages: C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, .NET, Google Web Toolkit * Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence) Key requirements *
