Experteer Overview In this role you will lead software development across the full lifecycle, focusing on Java-based, object-oriented solutions within a medical device context. You will drive modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted testing and automated quality analysis, and you will own end-to-end interfaces, testing strategies, and design reviews. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to plan, implement, and validate features while ensuring regulatory compliance. Compensation / Benefits * Apply expert knowledge across the complete software development process * Design/implement Java-based solutions with strong OO principles, data structures, and multi-threading concepts * Champion modern software practices including AI-assisted testing, automated code generation, and intelligent debugging * Oversee end-to-end interface implementation, testing strategies, and subsystem feature delivery * Debug, troubleshoot, and propose strategic solutions; contribute to process and design improvements * Independently manage product development, issue tracking, and design documentation with input from teammates * Communicate decisions to internal stakeholders and conduct design reviews with peer feedback * Assess impact of new feature requests and determine integration approach * Contribute to project planning with effort estimates for new features * Provide technical feasibility assessments, lead proof-of-concepts, and propose optimal designs Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science or related field; 8-10 years of related experience; Master with 7+ years acceptable * Strong Java or OO programming knowledge; experience with data structures, multi-threading, GUI modeling, and source control * Linux operating system proficiency; continuous integration and continuous development experience * Experience with Git and Jira; ability to debug and solve complex problems * Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and intelligent automation platforms * Familiarity with FDA compliance and regulatory requirements * Ability to plan, estimate effort, and communicate with cross-functional teams Key requirements *
