Join a critical digital modernization initiative as a Network Engineer II, specializing in storage systems within an IPv6-enabled network environment. You will ensure the reliability, security, and optimal performance of advanced storage infrastructure supporting high-impact government programs. Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, Direct Attached Storage)
Monitor storage capacity, system health, and performance metrics to ensure high availability
Execute regular data backups and disaster recovery operations
Troubleshoot and resolve storage and network issues, ensuring data integrity and security
Implement and maintain IPv6 configurations for storage technologies
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and schedules
Provide guidance and training to team members as needed

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in storage solutions engineering, including administration of SAN and NAS environments

Proficiency in storage management, performance monitoring, and capacity planning
Strong background in performing regular data backup and disaster recovery procedures
Working knowledge of IPv6 configuration and integration within storage environments
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
U.S. citizenship or green card holder with at least 3 years’ residency in the United States Preferred Skills
Advanced knowledge of IPv6 networking, addressing, routing, and troubleshooting
Experience designing and optimizing network architectures for government or enterprise environments, Access to cutting-edge technology and high-impact government projects
Potential for conversion to a full-time role with Leidos
