Job description

Design, develop, maintain, and support Unix/Linux-based applications and system-level programs.

Develop and enhance shell scripts (Korn Shell, Bash, Perl, Python) for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, memory, process, and system-related issues in Unix environments.
-
Work with file systems, process management, networking, and system administration tasks.
-
Support production releases, incident management, and root cause analysis for critical applications.
-
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, and middleware teams to ensure system stability and performance.

Implement automation solutions for deployment, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
-
Strong experience in Unix/Linux System Programming.
-
Proficiency in Shell Scripting (KSH/Bash) and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
-
Good understanding of Unix internals, process/thread management, memory management, IPC, and networking concepts.

Experience with TCP/IP, sockets programming, file systems, and performance tuning.

Knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools, monitoring, and automation frameworks.
-
Experience working in enterprise production support and troubleshooting environments.
Preferred Skills:
-
Banking/Financial Services domain experience.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation.
Domain: Banking, Financial Services & Capital Markets (Preferred)
