Job description

NOVA-Dine is seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer - Lead to support the Defense Enclave Services (DES) DODNet Migration Execution Services (MES-NET) program. This effort supports DISA’s modernization initiative to migrate Department of Defense Fourth Estate agencies into a unified DODNet enterprise environment. The selected candidate will serve as a senior technical leader supporting complex network infrastructure migration activities across multiple government organizations and geographically dispersed locations.

The successful candidate will support enterprise routing, switching, firewall modernization, VPN implementation, network segmentation, infrastructure integration, and migration execution activities while collaborating across cybersecurity, systems engineering, operations, and migration teams., * Lead technical execution of network migration activities across multiple DAFA environments.

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise network solutions within the DODNet architecture.
  • Support migration of routing, switching, firewall, VPN, DNS, DHCP/IPAM, VLAN, wireless, AAA, and NTP services.
  • Coordinate network cutovers, migrations, and implementation activities.
  • Support integration of agency networks into approved DISA and DODNet technologies.
  • Develop and maintain network diagrams, implementation plans, migration documentation, and engineering artifacts.
  • Support configuration management and change control processes utilizing ITSM tools.
  • Provide technical direction to installation technicians and junior engineers.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and operational transition activities.
  • Support migration execution reports, engineering reviews, and technical briefings.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, RMF, and operations teams throughout migration execution.

Requirements

  • Years of Experience: 8 years
  • Education Level: bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Clearance Requirements: Active Secret
  • Certification Requirements: DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher.
  • Experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
  • Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP services.
  • Experience implementing complex network changes in large-scale environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to support on-site operations at Fort Meade and travel as required., * Experience supporting DISA or DODNet environments.
  • Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with SIPR and NIPR environments.
  • Experience supporting large-scale migration and modernization efforts.
  • Experience utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code or automation tools.
  • ServiceNow experience.

Benefits & conditions

Salary Range: $60,000 to $88,000

The compensation range listed for this position represents the good faith salary range DinĆ© Development Corporation (DDC) and its subsidiaries reasonably expect to pay for the role, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the position’s responsibilities, the candidate’s education, experience, skills, internal equity, market considerations, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements or legal requirements., Eligible full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, retirement savings with company match, paid time off, voluntary supplemental benefits, and access to an employee assistance program.
