Senior Cloud Native UI Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and deliver mission-critical, cloud-native applications with a strong focus on intuitive UI and scalable back-end services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype, test, and deploy secure systems that support warfighters and national security missions. You’ll drive UX-first design while enabling rapid, DevSecOps-enabled delivery at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Design responsive UI using React, Angular, or VueJS and standard web technologies * Translate user needs into interfaces through wireframes and design systems * Build scalable back-end services with Python, Java, C#, or Go; leverage Kubernetes, REST/GraphQL, microservices * Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data pipelines and analytics tools * Support secure software delivery with DevSecOps and automated CI/CD pipelines * Contribute to architecture decisions, design reviews, and Agile workflows * Mentor juniors, conduct code reviews, and promote UI best practices Tasks * Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years, Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of related experience * On-site in Colorado Springs, CO * 4+ years back-end experience with Python, Java, or C# * 4+ years cloud development with AWS, Azure, or DAF Cloudworks; automated testing and delivery * Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines * Proficiency with automated testing (JMeter, Selenium, Jest) and front-end performance optimization Key requirements *
