Manager III - IT Project Delivery

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead a team of project managers delivering sector IT programs, ensuring high-quality execution across multiple initiatives. You will coach and develop PMs, monitor delivery health, and enforce enterprise standards and governance. You’ll partner with business, technology, and PMO stakeholders to remove obstacles and sustain momentum. The role emphasizes owning delivery outcomes, cross-functional collaboration, and adopting standardized lifecycle practices in a dynamic, on-site environment. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and develop project managers for sector IT programs and projects * Drive consistent, high-quality execution across concurrent initiatives * Coach team members to improve execution, dependencies, risks, and milestones * Reinforce best practices and alignment with IT standards and lifecycle frameworks * Provide delivery insights to PMO discussions and portfolio management * Maintain regular, predictable work schedule and foster positive working relationships * Work on-site five days per week and collaborate across departments and BAE SMS units * Perform other duties as necessary Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 12+ years of related experience * Leadership experience with a track record of delivering projects and programs * Proven ability to manage project managers and teams * Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills * Analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision capabilities * Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies * Security clearance not required but willingness and eligibility for submission and clearance if required Key requirements * health, dental, and vision insurance * health savings accounts * 401(k) savings plan * disability coverage * life and accident insurance * employee assistance program
