Job description
Experteer Overview Senior Cyber System Administrator role within CACI, delivering secure, mission-critical IT support for DoD-related environments. You will manage classified and unclassified systems, enforce access controls, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to sustain operation and compliance. The position emphasizes DoD cybersecurity requirements, RMF/ATO processes, and incident response in high-security settings. You’ll influence system hardening, monitoring, and continuity for mission success, with a focus on growth in a dynamic defense context. Compensation / Benefits * Administer, configure, and maintain classified and unclassified information systems * Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and access controls per security policies * Monitor system performance, availability, and security with approved tools * Implement system hardening, patching, and baseline configurations for cybersecurity compliance * Support accreditation, authorization, and continuous monitoring per DoD requirements * Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure reliability * Maintain system documentation, CM records, and SOPs * Coordinate with cybersecurity, network, and operations teams for incident response and risk mitigation * Perform data backup, recovery, and continuity procedures * Provide technical support and guidance on system capabilities and security best practices Tasks * TS/SCI clearance * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related technical field * 5 years executing cyber system administration for DoD systems in TS or higher environments * DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP) * Windows or Linux operating system management experience * Experience implementing cybersecurity controls and STIG compliance * TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall configurations * Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access management * Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) Key requirements * flexible time off * learning resources * healthcare * wellness programs * retirement plans * continuing education
