Job description

Utilizing fixed and portable audiovisual and multimedia production systems, facilitate and support in person and hybrid conferences, meetings, events and live productions for a global organization., Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV systems across multiple conference rooms. Systems include; Taiden conference systems, Crestron control systems, Telemetrics robotic camera systems, and Yamaha audio consoles.

Provide live event coverage for high-profile gatherings, including those attended by world leaders, ensuring seamless audio, video, and broadcast quality.

Configure and operate portable PA systems throughout the venue for both small-scale and large-scale event support.

Operate and manage teleprompting systems for keynote speakers, dignitaries, and panelists, ensuring smooth delivery and timing.

Support simultaneous interpretation systems, including setup, channel routing, interpreter booth coordination, and live monitoring to ensure accurate multilingual delivery.

Provide technical support for virtual and hybrid meetings utilizing platforms such as WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom, ensuring seamless integration with in-room AV systems.

Manage signal routing, camera control, and live switching for multi-camera productions.

Collaborate with venue event coordinators, interpreters, and colleagues to ensure AV setups meet strict technical and operational requirements.

Perform pre-event testing, live monitoring, and post-event breakdowns with meticulous attention to detail.

Learn, adapt to, and support new technologies and AV systems as the venue undergoes upgrades.

Requirements

Verified experience in live event AV operations, ideally in high-profile environments.

Hands-on expertise with AV conference microphone systems, routers, audio consoles, teleprompting systems and simultaneous interpretation equipment.

Strong understanding of audio mixing, video switching, camera operation and signal flow.

Ability to set up and operate portable PA systems for diverse room sizes and acoustics.

AI Awareness: Bring your knowledge of generative AI tools to improve processes for technical production workflows.

Calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure, with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work discreetly in sensitive multi-cultural and multilingual environments.

Ability to interface effectively with a variety of people including team personnel, clients and vendors to establish productive, ongoing relationships.

Willingness to be cross trained in multiple positions with a proactive attitude to jump in where help is needed.

Ability to read, speak and effectively communicate in English; Bilingual in other languages is a plus.

Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and extended hours as event schedules demand.

The duties of this position require the ability to bend, kneel, crawl, climb ladders and to stand for long periods of time

Candidate must be capable of working at heights and have good balance

Candidate may be required to lift heavy equipment up to 50 pounds

Adverse conditions may include noise and dust

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Audio/Electronic Engineering, or a related field preferred; OR completion of a technical school program with electronics training and relevant AV experience.

CTS Certifications are desired; we support all full-time employees in obtaining their appropriate CTS credentials.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in the audiovisual field, with demonstrated expertise in live event production and technical operations.
