Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the architecture and development of next-generation high-performance tester platforms. You will act as the technical authority for hardware design across multiple programs, guiding system-level decisions and tradeoffs. You’ll collaborate with Firmware, FPGA, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Validation, and Program Management to deliver scalable, reliable hardware. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as the hardware architecture authority and lead executive design reviews * Define system-level architectures and requirements for tester platforms and infrastructure * Drive tradeoffs balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, reliability, and schedule * Lead architecture and design reviews, risk assessments, and trade studies * Develop technology roadmaps and evaluate emerging technologies * Lead hardware development from concept to manufacturing release * Review and approve architectures, schematics, layouts, simulations, validation plans, and qualification strategies * Ensure robust engineering methods and design practices for high-speed digital, mixed-signal, power, and control systems * Provide architectural oversight for high-speed digital, SI, PI, power delivery, thermal management, and system integration * Lead root-cause analyses for design and manufacturing issues and support hardware bring-up and validation * Collaborate with ASIC, FPGA, Firmware, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Validation, Quality, and Supply Chain teams * Guide suppliers and external partners and establish hardware design standards and processes * Mentor engineers and promote continuous improvement in hardware development methodologies Tasks * BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience * 15+ years of hardware design and development experience * 5+ years leading hardware architecture and technical development of complex electronic systems * Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams and driving architecture decisions * Expertise in high-speed digital design and architecture Key requirements * medical/dental/vision insurance * life, accident and disability insurance * 401(k) with company contributions * tuition reimbursement * paid vacation and sick leave * employee assistance program (EAP)
