Experteer Overview In this role you will contribute to the development and modernization of defense software within the Aeronautics Systems sector. You’ll work on multiple programs, spanning software design, testing, integration, and DevOps across flight, mission, and lab environments. You’ll apply diverse languages and best practices to enable safe, reliable software for critical systems. This is a chance to influence complex, safety-focused projects and help advance cutting-edge aerospace technology. Compensation / Benefits * Support development and modernization programs for Strategic Operating Units * Contribute to software design, development, testing, integration, and DevOps across several programs * Work with multiple languages and industry best practices * Support all phases of the software development life cycle for flight, mission, lab and tools software Tasks * Bachelor in STEM with 14 years of software engineering experience OR Master in STEM with 12 years OR PhD in STEM with 9 years * Familiar with Safety-Critical Embedded Real Time Software * Experience with SDLC and Agile roles (Product Owner, SCRUM Master, or team member) * Programming experience across C, C++, Python, PowerShell, VBScript, Bash, and KornShell for safety-critical apps * Familiar with RTOS (VxWorks, Integrity, Real Time Embedded Linux) * Familiar with static and dynamic code analysis tools (Coverity, Fortify, SonarQube) * Familiar with software change control, change management, and CI/CD tools * Ability to obtain/maintain final U.S. Secret clearance Key requirements * health insurance coverage * life and disability insurance * savings plan * company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO)
