Senior AI Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and build scalable backend services powering UiPath’s Intelligent Document Processing and Context Grounding platform. You’ll work on production-grade AI-powered features that enable document understanding, retrieval, and knowledge management at enterprise scale. You’ll collaborate with product, science, and design teams to turn AI advances into real customer value. You own features end-to-end, solving distributed systems challenges while maintaining reliability and performance. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and operate scalable backend services for IDP, Context Grounding, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation capabilities * Implement document ingestion, parsing, chunking, embeddings, search/retrieval, and knowledge management components * Build cloud-native services with high availability, reliability, and performance * Contribute to APIs, AI orchestration, and evaluation pipelines * Solve complex distributed systems problems and ensure observability and security * Collaborate with PMs, scientists, designers, and engineers in architecture and code reviews * Own features from design through production and drive quality and delivery Tasks * 6+ years of professional software engineering experience * Strong backend experience in distributed systems * Production experience with Python and/or C# * Experience designing scalable APIs and microservices * Cloud experience on Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP * Understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, networking, and software architecture * Experience with event-driven systems, messaging, caching, and databases * Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills * Desirable: Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM-powered apps, semantic search, vector databases, Intelligent Document Processing, OCR * desired_soft_skills(unnamed) :[] * desired_technical_skills([]) Key requirements *
