Job description

Design, build, and maintain full stack applications across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure layers
Develop backend services using Python (e.g., Django, Flask) and scalable API architecture (REST/GraphQL)
Build modern, responsive frontend applications using JavaScript frameworks (React, Node)
Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including microservices and serverless components
Partner with product, data, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Lead technical design decisions, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across applications
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps processes to support high-quality releases
Optimize system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve application reliability
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with:

o Python backend development o JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or similar)

Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with modern web architectures
Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and distributed systems
Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL) and data modeling
Familiarity with DevOps / infrastructure concepts:

o CI/CD pipelines o Containers (Docker, Kubernetes) o Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Experience using AI development techniques
Strong understanding of software design patterns, testing, and scalable architecture
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, * Experience within reinsurance, insurance, or financial services
Familiarity with data-intensive systems, analytics platforms, or risk/underwriting systems
Exposure to microservices architecture, event-driven systems, or real-time data processing
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Prior experience in a technical leadership or senior-level individual contributor role
