Job description

The IMS Technician will be responsible for assisting the Senior IMS Analyst with day-to-day activities supporting the Newton Cable Plant., * Interact with customer to gather and define system/solution requirements

  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IMS devices, printers, scan guns, servers, etc.
  • Review and update document repository in SharePoint for AI enablement
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems that may have a significant impact on the business
  • Support IMS projects

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in an IT support role, including experience supporting hardware and software components, * Understanding of server and network infrastructure
  • Microsoft 365 including SharePoint and OneNote
  • Cybersecurity mindset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and management
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Education:

  • 2-year degree in computer science or related field
