DevOps Engineer (Compute Platform)

* Operate, deploy, and maintain existing compute infrastructure, including patching, provisioning, and firmware updates. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues across hardware, operating systems, virtualization layers, and cloud platforms like OpenStack and Harvester HCI. * Support day-to-day operations including firmware management, hardware health monitoring, and on-call incident response. * Assist with automation of operational tasks using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools. * Perform root cause analysis across complex, distributed systems including hardware and software layers. * Manage enterprise hardware such as Cisco UCS, Dell PowerEdge, and HPE servers.

6+ years as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Operations Engineer supporting compute-focused environments. * Hands-on experience operating bare-metal environments at scale with PXE, Redfish, and BMaaS. * Operational expertise with OpenStack, Ubuntu Linux, KVM, and Harvester HCI. * Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash. * Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. * Proven ability in cross-stack root cause analysis and incident management.
