Applications Team Leader

Experteer Overview As Applications Team Leader, you will lead a group of Applications Engineers in the semiconductor test domain, guiding performance, training, and project delivery. You will provide technical leadership on test program and hardware development, while coaching the team and driving process improvements. You will coordinate multi-site support for customers and ensure timely, professional responses to inquiries. You will work with global teams to meet goals and shape customer-focused solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and develop the Applications Engineers, including performance management and coaching * Provide technical guidance on application development projects and test program/hardware development * Manage performance assessments and improvement plans per PDE process * Prioritize team tasks and coordinate on-site/off-site customer support, including ramp-up at customer sites * Escalation management to Applications Management within the ST group * Ensure timely, professional responses to customer inquiries * Collaborate with global Applications Team to achieve goals * Participate in customer meetings and contribute to process improvement of existing workflows * Report system performance issues (SPR) on tester operating systems * Create application notes and papers for internal and customer use * Support ongoing training needs identification and development of team * Foster strong teamwork and effective cross-functional communication * Focus on customer-driven service and support quality * Drive on-site troubleshooting and technology transfer for customers * Coordinate with worldwide teams to meet defined objectives * Maintain focus on improving overall performance quality * Prepare and deliver customer-facing and internal documentation Tasks * Engineering / University degree or similar education * 5+ years of experience in the ATE and/or semiconductor industry, preferably as an Applications Engineer * Proven track record with key customer support for 3+ years * Experience and execution of successful projects as an Applications Engineer or similar * English knowledge (written and spoken); Mandarin knowledge beneficial Key requirements *
