Software Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Des Moines, IA, Minneapolis, MN or Irving, TX. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity. This role will consult on complex software engineering initiatives with a focus on large-scale production support for AI/ML and LLM-based systems. The ideal candidate will have an SRE skillset to help grow the team’s capabilities in incident management, monitoring, observability, deployments, and automation. Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Manage incidents and changes, monitoring, observability, deployments, automation, and self-healing of applications

• 8+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Experience leading large-scale production support using ITIL practices
• Experience supporting AI/ML and LLM-based systems
• Experience managing reliability, observability, incident response, and operational risk
• Expertise across on-prem, hybrid, and public cloud environments
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, UDeploy, Terraform)
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible)
• Experience with observability platforms (AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, BigPanda, Application Insights)
• Experience with resilient system design and support for large-scale Java/.NET applications and Oracle/MSSQL databases
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI
• Experience with L2 level troubleshooting (Unix commands)

Desired skills:

• Prior enterprise banking experience or regulated industry experience

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
