Job description
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior UI/UX Designer position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be remote in United States.
This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the UI/UX strategy, architecture, and design for an enterprise Master Data Platform from the ground up
- Design and develop enterprise web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and Angular Material
- Build and maintain reusable UI component libraries and design systems that establish shared standards across the platform
- Design intuitive stewardship workflows for review queues, exception resolution, approvals, match/merge decisions, and bulk updates that simplify complex data processes
- Partner directly with Product Management, Engineering teams, data stewards, and business stakeholders through discovery sessions and usability testing
- Integrate OData v4 and REST APIs to support secure, high-performance data retrieval, filtering, sorting, and CRUD operations
- Implement front-end observability, telemetry, and performance monitoring to measure usability and user productivity while establishing coding standards
- Design AI-assisted user experiences with confidence scoring, explainable recommendations, and human-in-the-loop workflows that keep business users in control
- Optimize application performance, security, and usability through responsive design, accessibility compliance, and role-based access controls
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, promoting engineering best practices for secure, scalable enterprise applications
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience designing and building enterprise web applications with strong Angular development expertise
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern front-end development practices including building reusable component libraries or enterprise design systems
- Proven experience creating UX designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using AI tools and design platforms
- Experience designing complex data-intensive workflows involving advanced grids, filters, approvals, exceptions, audit trails, and bulk actions
- Hands-on experience with AG Grid Enterprise or equivalent data grid frameworks including virtualization and high-volume datasets
- Strong experience with NgRx, Redux, Signals, or comparable enterprise state-management architectures and REST API integration
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills with proven ability to collaborate with Product Managers, engineers, and diverse business stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, own your work, and contribute to enterprise product design rather than simply taking orders
