Job description

Job Duties: Under direct supervision, develop and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards in cloud-native application development using AWS. Review the technical design specifications and code new or modify existing DevOps CI/CD pipeline programs as per the design requirements. Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform for AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, Neptune, DynamoDB, CloudFront, and Route53. Develop automated software building and deployment programs in Terraform as per the requirements provided by the stakeholders. Develop and maintain serverless Lambda functions using Node.js and TypeScript. Design and implement custom Lambda authorizers for JWT token validation and API security. Implement CI/CD code for operational efficiency. Responsible for AWS infrastructure and AWS services. Create technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and API specifications. Develop CI/CD pipelines, automated software build, and deployment programs on AWS using Terraform. Work closely with AWS designers and architects to produce the desired functionality of the DevOps CI/CD and automated software build programs. Design and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure testing and deployment. Implement AWS provider upgrades and migrations ensuring zero downtime. Review AWS service updates and assess impact on existing infrastructure. Plan infrastructure changes with consideration for backwards compatibility and dependent applications. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and architectural patterns. Provide application technical support and maintenance activities for enhanced system functionality. Interact with end users and troubleshoot production issues. Use of AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, IAM, ElastiCache, KMS, VPC, S3), Terraform, Scalr, AWS Bedrock, Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA), TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, Jest, Playwright, JWT, and OAuth.

Requirements

Position requires 2 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Jenkins., Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or related experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Jenkins. 40hrs/week.
