Experteer Overview In this role you will develop, configure, test, and support the Spectrum Power 7 Operator Training Simulator for global customers. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to translate customer requirements into robust software enhancements for energy management systems. You’ll tackle testing, troubleshooting, and deployment challenges across factory and site environments, with opportunities to influence product delivery and customer success. This position offers hybrid work, travel, and a chance to impact operator training within a major energy-management platform. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and enhance Operator Training Simulator features to meet customer requirements * Test and validate software in factory and site environments * Configure and tune the simulator per customer needs * Troubleshoot and debug simulator issues and support customers * Estimate effort for delivering enhancements and new projects * Support both project delivery and product development initiatives for EMS/UI components * Perform software development for enhancements aligned with customer requirements * Coordinate with global customers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery Tasks * Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with focus in Electrical Power * 1+ year of software development experience in operator training simulators for EMS/energy systems * 1+ year experience in development for SCADA-EMS alarm and data processing * 1+ year experience with Transmission Network Applications and power flow related features * 1+ year experience in UI enhancements for EMS/Operator Training Systems * 1+ year experience in C/C++ and Python * 1+ year experience with Git/GitHub * 1+ year experience on Linux/Windows/AIX * 1+ year experience with Agile methodologies and test automation Key requirements *
