Data Scientist [Multiple Positions Available]

Experteer Overview In this role you will extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources to support accurate reporting and data-driven decision making. You will collaborate with business partners to define requirements, develop reports and dashboards, and troubleshoot production reporting issues. You’ll identify trends, validate data sources, and advise on opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience. This position offers impact by shaping analytics for mortgage and lending insights within a cross-functional setting. Compensation / Benefits * Extract and transform data from various sources using complex SQL queries * Gather and clarify reporting requirements from business partners * Create, enhance, update, and test reports and stored procedures * Troubleshoot and resolve production reporting issues * Identify trends/patterns in data and reporting and communicate insights * Advise business and technology partners on data-driven opportunities to increase efficiency and improve customer experience * Interface with Operations, Technology, Finance, and Marketing to gather information Tasks * Master’s degree in Risk Management, Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field + 1 year experience OR Bachelor’s degree in related field + 3 years experience * 1 year of experience with data manipulation and query optimization on large data sets using SQL (MS SQL Server) or Alteryx Designer * Experience creating visualizations with Excel, Python, or Tableau to communicate insights to senior management * Experience on end-to-end projects to develop Tableau dashboards and provide SQL support for dashboards * Experience with statistical analysis in Python (e.g., linear or logistic regression) and finding outliers * Experience with mortgage products (fixed-rate, adjustable-rate, FHA/VA, Jumbo) and mortgage process stages * Ability to differentiate lead sources and analyze trends across channels and operations Key requirements * comprehensive health care coverage * on-site health and wellness centers * retirement savings plan * backup childcare * tuition reimbursement * mental health support
