Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a global manufacturing and technology organization supporting cutting-edge biologics production. You’ll play a key role in leveraging advanced statistics, data science, and process analytics to optimize manufacturing performance, accelerate product launches, and support the next generation of biopharmaceutical therapies.

As a Data Scientist, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across manufacturing, process development, quality, and analytics to:

• Apply advanced statistical modeling and data science techniques to solve complex manufacturing challenges
• Support process optimization, process characterization, comparability studies, validation activities, and investigations
• Design experiments, analyze large datasets, and translate results into clear business and scientific recommendations
• Contribute to innovative initiatives around digital manufacturing, advanced process monitoring, and data-driven decision-making
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, and compliance within a regulated pharmaceutical environment
• Present findings and recommendations to technical experts, project teams, and senior stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years, Master’s degree with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong expertise in Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sector
• Solid understanding of cGMP environments and regulatory expectations
• Experience supporting manufacturing, process development, or analytical sciences
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to lead complex technical projects
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is considered a plus
• Experience with biologics manufacturing (upstream or downstream processes)
• Exposure to advanced analytics, process monitoring, digital transformation, or Industry 4.0 initiatives
• Ability to challenge the status quo and introduce innovative, data-driven solutions
