Job description

Our clientcurrently has a vacancy for a Change & Release coordinator fluent In English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will perform their services remotely within EU. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site., * Coordination of the operational changes and releases of all live service elements, with focus on planning, coordination of resources and activities, and version controlling, whilst maintaining quality and minimising risk;

  • Ensuring that Release and Change Management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are reported, and their targets are met;
  • Coordinating with DevSecOps Engineers and other technical teams for deployments, automation improvements and release optimisation;
  • Collaborating with project and operational teams to ensure effective system change and release implementation;
  • Assisting in support models set up and in managing transition of projects and new services into the business-as-usual model;
  • Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, 3rd parties, etc. to ensure timely change and release implementation.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 5 years of of experience in IT operations or/and IT service management and delivery.;
  • Experience working within ITIL-aligned frameworks and structured change and release-management processes;
  • Excellent understanding and practical knowledge of ITIL service management processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release,
  • Event and Knowledge Management;
  • Proficiency with IT service management tools such as Service Now;
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and configuration-management tools;
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple high priority efforts/ competing priorities and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities;
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation or higher (or equivalent) is mandatory;
  • Agile or DevOps certification and/or Project management certification is an asset;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
