Credit Analyist

Credit Review

• Analysis of creditworthiness of clients by using both quantitative and qualitative factors
• Perform rating review and update on the clients
• Preparation of credit review report and presentation to Credit Committee

• Preparation of meetings for Credit Committee and preparation of meeting minutes

• Credit Administration
• Checking conditions precedent for loan payment
• Monitoring of existing clients/exposures in compliance with internal and external rules
• Support the monitoring and management of watchlist, intensive care and nonperforming exposures
• Reporting of large exposures and loans of EUR 1million and above to German Bundesbank including management of customer data (“Stammdaten”)
• Management of pledged loans for refinancing purposes to Bundesbank (“MACCS”)
• Risk reports to local Management Board and Head Office
• Establishing and managing credit files (hardcopy and digital)
• Supporting Corporate Banking and Operations for credit related matters

• University degree in economics, finance or banking
• 4 - 5 years of work experience in front or middle office or risk management function of commercial banks
• Solid knowledge of corporate credit analysis, credit review, internal rating and risk assessment
• Good understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, economics and accounting standards * Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare clear, structured and reliable credit reports
• Experience in intensive care, watchlist or NPL management is an advantage
• Knowledge of German banking supervisory requirements, in particular the German Banking Act (KWG), MaRisk and relevant credit risk requirementsGood skills in MS
• Proficient in German and English languages, both written and spoken
