Managing Consultant- Infrastructure Resilience

Experteer Overview In this role you help clients shape solutions for energy systems, climate resilience, and sustainability. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop insights, and present findings that drive decision-making. You’ll manage technical workstreams, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to client-facing deliverables. The opportunity centers on applying analytics to real-world energy challenges and delivering measurable impact for clients and their assets. Compensation / Benefits * Contribute to creative problem-solving to drive outcomes for clients * Provide detailed fact findings, research, and analysis on energy-related activities (climate resilience, grid modernization, sustainability) * Understand downscaled climate data sources and isolate data for client assets using methods such as nearest neighbor analysis * Perform statistical and economic analyses in Excel, R, Python * Prepare workshop and meeting materials, attend sessions, and summarize outcomes * Prepare reports, presentations, and other client deliverables * Present results of analyses to resonate with clients * Collaborate with colleagues and client staff as part of a project team; work independently as needed Tasks * US Permanent Resident or US Citizen * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and 5+ years of relevant utilities industry or consulting experience * Experience related to climate resilience and adaptation, grid modernization, and sustainability * Ability to lead project technical workstreams and manage junior analysts * Client service orientation * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Experience delivering PowerPoint presentations * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficiency with data analytics * Interest in business strategy, energy efficiency, and sustainability * Inquisitive nature and desire for continuous improvement * Attention to detail * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills * Ability to travel as needed * Ability to work in Guidehouse Office or Client Office Key requirements * Medical, Rx, Dental & Vision Insurance * Paid Holidays * Parental Leave and Adoption Assistance * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Tuition Reimbursement, Personal Development & Learning Opportunities * Mobility Stipend
