Experteer Overview As an Associate Director in Guidehouse’s Communities, Energy & Infrastructure team, you guide complex energy and infrastructure programs from planning through operations. You lead Owner’s Representative engagements and advise utilities, developers, and investors on delivery models, governance, and risk management to ensure successful, on-time outcomes. You’ll coordinate multi-party teams and craft client-ready insights to shape strategy and execution, while driving business growth across the practice. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Owner’s Representative, Owner’s Manager, and Owner’s Integrator engagements across planning, permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and readiness phases * Advise utilities, energy developers, investors, and infrastructure owners on delivery strategy, governance, and organizational readiness * Support site selection, permitting, licensing, regulatory strategy, stakeholder engagement, and investment decision support * Manage cross-functional project teams and ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables and effective stakeholder coordination * Oversee delivery performance including schedule, cost, risk, contract management, change control, and executive reporting * Facilitate alignment among owners, investors, lenders, EPCs, regulators, communities, and partners * Develop client-ready insights via assessments, scenario analyses, and governance reviews * Support business development through proposals, executive relationships, and expanding service offerings * Collaborate across practice areas to deliver integrated solutions spanning strategy, delivery, technology, regulation, and transformation * Coach and mentor project teams to foster leadership, excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement Tasks * U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident * Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years or Master’s degree and 5+ years in energy infrastructure project development, delivery, or related fields * Experience supporting large-scale capital projects in energy, utilities, industrial, or public sector markets * Demonstrated leadership in roles like Lead Developer, Owner’s Representative, PMO, or Project Controls * Strong understanding of the infrastructure project lifecycle from development to operations * Proven ability to manage risks, schedules, budgets, contracts, stakeholders, and executive communications * Experience leading cross-functional, client-facing engagements * Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders * Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, project analytics, reporting platforms, and data visualization tools * Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in hybrid client-facing environments * Ability to work onsite at Guidehouse or client locations Key requirements * Medical, Rx, Dental & Vision Insurance * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Parental Leave and Adoption Assistance * Tuition Reimbursement * Mobility Stipend * Employee Referral Program
