Data Management Analyst - Hybrid

In this role, you will consult on complex data management initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning. The position will be responsible for performing analytics related to wires risk controls, liaising with platform support teams, and developing control reporting for risk, control, and audit team usage. This position will also develop a deep understanding of the business processes, concepts, and data behind wire transfers to effectively perform business and data analysis., * Develop a deep understanding of wires data, initiation channels, and financial crimes regulation

• Liaison between the analysis and frontline risk teams
• Perform analysis comparing wires messages with instructions received in initiation channels
• Lead discussions with product SMEs and initiation channel application business owners related to findings and resolution
• Adhere to data security and governance regulations, guidelines, and policies
• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Data Management
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Data Management challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

• 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience
• 7 years of business analytics experience, payments risk experience, or a combination of both
• 4 years of writing complex SQL code (in Microsoft SQL Server or Hive) with experience parsing XML, delimited, and fixed with data files
• Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Reporting and analytics experience to develop data pipelines, data transformation, and reporting for business analysts/executives
• This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days on-site per week
