We employ around 700 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver forensic mental health care to residential patients. The eHealth department at The State Hospital is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst to join the existing Infrastructure Team.The shift pattern for this post is Monday to FridayTo provide the hospital with an excellent customer based first- & second-line support service through the IM&T department help desk for IT hardware, software faults, enquiries, general help and advice.The main tasks / responsibilities are shown below. This list is not exhaustive.Installation of IT equipment across the siteScheduling / building and delivering requested equipmentManaging IT Helpdesk ticketsUpdating systems with all relevant informationPrioritise and managing workloadsAssisting end users with IT issues.The role will require the candidate to work in a highly secure environment and will require some manual labour.Experience: Relevant experience of IM&T systems and hardware supportExperience of a variety of Microsoft systems, applications and computer hardware is essential as is a familiarity of LAN networking and protocols such as TCP/IP.PC hardware upgrades and maintenancePC Windows operating systems installation, maintenance and upgradesWorking in an IT support functionSpecific MS core systems, e.g. MS Azure, MS Defender, MS Office Suite, MS Server, SQL Server etcClosing DateThe closing date for applications is 9th August **Right to Work- To work in the UK, you must have valid permission granted by UK Visas and Immigration.
