Experteer Overview In this onsite role, you will manage and secure IT and OT infrastructure in Dayton, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable Windows Server, VMware, and AD environments. You will support OT systems (ICS/SCADA) while maintaining high availability, security, and disaster recovery capabilities. This is a hands-on position that blends IT and OT expertise to enable safe, integrated operations. A clear impact comes from strengthening systems across IT/OT boundaries and supporting critical utilities services. Compensation / Benefits * Manage Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services) * Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and optimize configurations for stability and security * Administer VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) including VM management and upgrades * Implement virtualization best practices for high availability and disaster recovery * Support OT systems (ICS, SCADA) with cross-functional teams * Manage Active Directory users, groups, and Group Policy; oversee domain controllers * Ensure security standards and compliance across IT and OT * Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery processes * Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps * Provide guidance on infrastructure and IT/OT integration Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) * Strong experience with Windows Server administration, VMware, and Active Directory * Exposure to OT environments (ICS, SCADA) preferred * Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices * Certifications such as MCSA or VMware VCP are a plus * Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently and in a team * Clear communication and ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams Key requirements * onsite role in Dayton * competitive hourly rate * contract-to-hire
